The Spongebob Musical

23 May - 1 June 2024

Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world! With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!


Little Shop of Horrors

July 2024

Our summer school programme is one of our most popular annual projects. Students will work alongside our director, musical director, choreographer, technical teams, and our fabulous band to mount a full-scale production of Little Shop of Horrors in just two weeks. This is an opportunity to make memories, meet new friends, hone professional theatrical skills in a fast-paced environment and experience first-hand what it is like to take part in a large-scale production!

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his co-worker crush. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Join us as we put on a this delicious sci-fi smash in just 2 weeks.


A Christmas Carol

Imagine That Performing Arts brings this festive classic to the Airdrie Arts Centre - our production of A Christmas Carol will fill the auditorium to the brim with mince pies, mulled wine, music and merriment. Our unique staging will immerse the audience in the story! 

Ebenezer Scrooge is a notoriously bitter old man who is determined not to let Christmas interfere with his miserly routine. A feared figure throughout the streets he is unmoved by any pleas for charity. But one Christmas Eve, Scrooge receives some unexpected supernatural visitors who are determined to show him the error of his ways.


The Jungle Book Kids

20 - 22 March 2025

Adapted from Disney's beloved animated film and the works of Rudyard Kipling, the “man cub.” Mowgli, bounds through the jungle and learns what it means to be human.

The jungle is jumpin' with a jazzy beat in Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS. Specially adapted from the classic Disney animated film, Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS features a host of colourful characters and your favourite songs from the movie.

Banished by the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan, a human boy named Mowgli and his panther friend, Bagheera, are on the run in the deepest parts of the jungle. On their journey, the two meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants and a giant bear named Baloo, who teaches them the swingin' musical rhythms of the jungle. After surviving a dangerous encounter with a band of monkeys led by King Louie, Mowgli and Bagheera are forced to run for their lives. When Shere Khan returns, our heroes must rally their fellow animals into battle and restore peace throughout the jungle.


Sunshine on Leith

5 - 7 June 2025

Set to fantastic songs from world-renowned Scottish band The Proclaimers, Sunshine on Leith is both a funny and moving musical about Davy and Ally, two Edinburgh natives returning to their hometown after serving in war-torn countries overseas, who are questioning what ‘home’ really means. Families, friendships and life are not all plain sailing in this funny and moving story about love and life.

A fantastic feel-good story from Stephen Greenhorn, with a feature film adaptation in 2013, it will have you grinning from ear to ear and dancing in the aisles!


Summer Camp 2025 - A Summer You’ll Never Forget


Taking place at Broomlee Outdoor Centre, on the outskirts of the beautiful conservation village of West Linton, our students will spend 6 days, 5 nights - creating memories to last a life time. Inspired by the American Summer Camps you see in the movies we will push the ‘Show in a Week’ format to the extremes. There will be camp fires, late night woodland challenges and plenty more stagey fun!
